Acanthophthalmus kuhli
The coolie loach. A number of species are available commercially under this name;
they differ only in the pattern of their coloration. Shy and non-aggressive, they
can leap through any tiny gap in the aquarium lid. They have been successfully bred
with the aid of hormones, like the labeos; otherwise they rarely reproduce in captivity.
