Hyphessobrycon erythrostigma
The dorsal fin of the bleeding heart tetra is more elongated than the female's.
Breeding is difficult and requires peat filtration, with fine-leafed plants for
a "spawning substrate." Incubation must take place in darkness. Size: 4-5 cm
